Leslie Brown is this Week’s Caught in the Act Award Recipient
Each week, Gary and Bristol shine the light on one of our local residents who help to make Kiss Country the greatest place in the world to live!
This week's recipient is one of those people that you're glad to have in your circle. Leslie Brown was nominated by Shannon Sirmons for her big heart and constant acts of kindness, which is why she has earned the distinction of being named this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.
Just take a look at the letter we got from Shannon:
If you don't have a friend you can count on, then you need a "LES". I've never seen anyone be more giving & caring. She never asks for anything and will be there to help you night or day. She has been through tragic moments in her life, she lost her husband suddenly & her home burned down to name a few. Even after that, she is still the most positive person. She tends to her elderly aunt and cooks for her. She is known as "Aunt Les" to many children young & old. She attends recitals, ball games, cheer, dance, programs, you name it & she will be there to encourage you & always smiling. I don't know how she finds time or energy to be there for everyone, but she does. Even on bad days, she will put herself aside to help others. I have seen her in restaurants help people she doesn't even know. She is that way everywhere she goes. All of her friends would agree that if there is anyone more deserving of Being Caught in the Act Award, It's Les. She isn't caught, it's how she is. Her heart is so big that she would rather help others than do anything for herself.
Thank you for being so amazing, Leslie!
And because you've been "Caught in the Act," the gang at Silverstar has a $100 Gift Certificate for you to have dinner on them!
Take a listen to the phone call we made to Leslie to let her know that she was this week's Caught in the Act Award recipient.
