Latisia Mills Is Newest Recipient of Caught in the Act Award

It's been said that you can count your "real" friends on one hand. In some cases, just one finger. But when Jessica Williams considers her friends, she's blessed to have a pretty awesome lady right there at the top!

That friend is Latisia Mills and she's this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award! And what an amazing person Latisia is! Course, we would have never known of her wonders if Jessica hadn't been paying attention and then took the time to submit Latisia's nomination letter so that we could recognize her on Kiss Country.

Just look at what Jessica wrote:

I would like to nominate my best friend Latisia Mills! I started working with her at LSUHSC when I was in my Senior year of High School. She was my supervisor. This girl became my sister. She is my rock and someone I can always count on in my life. She will drop anything in a second notice to be there for anyone that needs her. On holidays when most people are at home spending their time with family members she will volunteer with her family to feed the homeless or those in need. She will help buy Christmas presents to those kids in need. She fosters animals that may need a home while they wait to be adopted. She goes above and beyond for anyone that may need her. She sets the best example for her son. She lost her mom when she was a teenager and she lost her aunt last September whom had become like a mom to her. She has had a very rough patch over the last year but through it a ll she never lost her faith, light, or positive attitude. She is someone who I look up to on a daily basis and I wish I could even be half the person she is. I don't know what I would do without this girl in my life. These are just a few of the reasons why I would like to nominate Latisia.

Latisia Mills, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!
