Are we the products of the music we grew up listening to? I would argue that I grew up with some of THE BEST Country: Kenny Rogers, Conway Twitty, Alabama, Ronnie Milsap, and the list goes on and on. It was a Kenny Rogers cassette that burned the motor up on my poor Teddy Ruxpin, I still remember the day.

Poor Teddy didn't have another encore of "Islands In The Stream" left in him, I pushed him too far.

Moving from the 80's "Golden Age" of Country, where I was a passenger, enjoying whatever mom was dialed into-- I eventually entered the 90's and oddly enough, even though I had the option, I didn't change the dial: Garth, Shania, Tim McGraw. Good stuff!

Well in honor of my Teddy Ruxpin, God rest his soul (no other Teddy Ruxpin had a more honorable death), I would like to share Kenny's Christmas Concert Tour schedule. I wonder if Kenny will sing "Islands In The Stream" with me for old times sake when he makes his Bossier City stop December 3rd? Maybe together we can pour one out for poor Teddy?
