To be so young, Kalie Ricks already has a well established list of priorities, and she always puts someone else on top of that list. And because of her kindness and Christian spirit, she's been selected to receive this week's Caught in the Act Award.

Nominated by her mother, Racheal Ellis, you can just feel her Mom beaming with pride as she wrote us the letter about Kalie:

Hi my name is Racheal Ellis and I would like to nominate my daughter Kalie Ricks for the caught in the act award. She is one of the most amazing, loving, caring young women I know. Kalie is always there to help others when someone is in need. She is getting married in October, she is a full time student, works and still has the time to help with her church, kids camp, VBS, and to teach young kids how to follow GOD and lead them in the right direction. She is always willing to say a prayer/pray for anyone. As a example her senior year she came downtown for her senior project gave bibles to all the homeless and the group from church would come downtown feed the homeless and talk/hang out with them. She is truly a believer and one of GOD’s angels. I couldn’t be prouder of my daughter and the things she has accomplished throughout her life. Her and her fiancé have truly helped so many kids with all the camps, missionary trips and teaching kids about God. I have one of the most amazing daughters and could not be a prouder parent. I personally can’t think of any other person that is more deserving for this award than my daughter, Kalie.

Kalie Ricks, thank you for being one of the biggest reasons why this is the greatest place in America to live!

And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star Steak House and Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Kalie to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
