Being a parent is already one of the toughest jobs a person can have, but being a step-parent is exponentially tougher. Yet, Justin Loeb, through trial and error, has managed to win the heart of his step-daughter, Destiny Gwin.

He's impressed her so much, she took the time to nominate Justin for Kiss Country's Caught in the Act Award, and he was at a complete loss for words as he learned that he was this week's recipient.

Course, he was mostly choked up because of the letter Destiny had submitted. Just take a look and you'll understand why.

My stepdad Justin Loeb, goes out of his way to give back to the community. He is always only a phone call away no matter the case. He volunteers for Team RWB which he is the chapter captain at, runs at all the Ainsleys Angels events and as a veteran himself he is involved in constant work at the Warrior Network. He wants to make a impact on the community so he’s started the Tour of the SBC in which he shows all the different things going on around town. He also talks about the history and wants to support local restaurants and businesses. Not only is he a great stepdad, he’s also an amazing grandpa (or Papa J as we call him). He will go to the ends of the earth for anyone and I think he truly deserves this.

Justin Loeb, thank you for being one of the "good guys" and being a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!
