When it comes to friends, Brittni Linder hit the jackpot! And she certainly wasn't too bashful to brag on the incredible Joy Porter! Course, with a friend like Joy, it's not brag; just fact.

See, Joy is living proof that we can all be an example of God's love and she's not afraid to help anyone at any time.

And it's her giving heart and love for others that got her caught! Caught in the Act that is! She's this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award and Brittni's nomination letter tells the whole story.

Man! I can’t even begin to try to explain the many ways Mrs. Joy is so amazing. Joy is a mom & a wife & she deserves the world. She runs Bless it Forward & has helped so many Caddo parish students get school uniforms & supplies when so many parents were jobless due to Covid-19. She also helps run I2D (Intent to distribute) & helps feed & dress our homeless population. Mrs. Joy drives all around town picking up food & supplies to pass out at Hope House. She even helps furnish housing for families that graduate from the Providence house. She has inspired so many people to give back to our community & helps us all fill in the gap! She does all of this while being a mom to 3 amazing boys! She has faith the size of a mustard seed & trust that God will always provide, no matter what. She inspires me daily! She is an amazing human! I’m happy to call her my friend!

Joy Porter, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!
