Most often when a sister-in-law speaks of her brother-in-law, it's not a positive thing.

While it might not be totally negative, that sister-in-law will point out the rough spots in her brother-in-law's demeanor.

That couldn't be further from the truth when you see the way that Lauren McInally wrote of her brother-in-law, Jason Hall.

Though, you can tell these two jest with one another, Lauren is a true fan of Jason, and it's easy to tell why.

Jason's giving heart, in spite of the bumps that life has thrown his way, is cause enough for all of us to celebrate him, and that's exactly why he is this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award!

I am writing to tell you about my brother in law, Jason Hall. Jason is just a goofy, fun-loving guy who likes to hunt and fish. Jason has had so many obstacles come his way. In December of 2020 while working in the oilfield, there was an accident which resulted in him losing his left leg. There were so many complications following, kidney failure, heart problems, sepsis, etc. It was touch and go for about a year after the accident. Now he is considered physically disabled. Despite the pain he feels daily, and how things that are easy to everyone else are now challenging to him, he is still out there helping wherever he can. On Wednesday nights, he drives the van for his church to pick up kids who want to attend church, but don't have a way to get there. You can also catch him at the Benton Dixie fields helping his daughters softball team at practice, or helping friends by haulin g dirt, or giving unsolicited life advice. He and my sister have been together for almost 20 years, and have 2 daughters. Their 3rd daughter will be here in a few weeks. I always joke around and tell him, he is the brother I never wanted. Jason is a brother I have always needed. He is kind, thoughtful, and caring. He always goes out of his way to help anybody with any need. I hope you can take a moment to recognize what a great guy he is!

Jason Hall, because you've been 'Caught in the Act' the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Jason to let him know that he was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
