Heather Owens Is Latest Recipient of Caught in the Act Award
Heather Owens was actually out of town, in Arkansas, when we contacted her this morning. She was completely caught off guard as we informed her that her husband, Shawn, had written us to tell us of her wonders. Little did she know, this little surprise, and an awesome letter from her husband, would make for the start to an incredible day.
See, today was the day that Heather became our latest recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award! And just looking at the love written in her nomination letter from Shawn, you'll see that not only is Heather a blessed woman, but she's such a blessing to all of those who cross her path!
Heather Owens is the most kind, caring, selfless, charitable, and loving person i know. She is always more worried about the well being of others over herself. At Thanksgiving she not prepares a feast for her family, but buys everything needed for multiple families that otherwise would not have a feast. At Christmas she makes sure that children who would not have a very Merry Christmas have that chance by making sure they too have toys and that their families have what is needed to have a Christmas meal. She has went out of her way on numerous occasions year round, to go assist children & their families, the elderly, and pretty much anyone in need. While being a difference maker in these peoples lives she still somehow never misses a beat with her own family. As a wife & mother of two boys she is the first to help with school events, youth sports, church, and whatever else she can. She is truly someone that puts others first and serves God each and every day, which is precisely why i married her!
Heather Owens, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!
And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star have a $100 Gift Certificate for you to come have dinner on them!
Take a listen to the phone call we made to Heather to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
