Guys Who Want To Meet Women Should Carry a Guitar

Apparently people will study or research just about anything, but this time around in a fairly large survey, we actually get some useful information.  If you're a guy who wants to meet women, get a guitar.  

You don't even have to play it; she's just got to "think" you're a musician.  We've heard for years that "the guys in the band get all the girls."  Well, apparently those rumors are true!

On three separate occasions, researchers sent a good-looking 20-year-old guy to a public place, to approach 100 young women between the ages of 18 and 22, and try to get their phone number.

And each time he carried a different prop, to see how it affected his game.  Check out the results . . .

1.  When he carried a GUITAR CASE, he was successful 31% of the time.  Of course, we're assuming he had an actual guitar in the case, but nonetheless, 31 women out of 100 gave him their number when he had the guitar case.  And it's unknown how many of these other women might have already been in relationships; or how many were in relationships and yet still gave him their number.

2.  When he had NOTHING in his hands, he was successful 14% of the time.

3.  And when he carried a sports duffle bag, he only got numbers 9% of the time.

We're not exactly sure if they ever sent him out with one of those "big checks" like he just won the Powerball Lottery.  We're thinking that could have really helped his odds.  We're also thinking that if he pulled up in his "Geek Squad" Volkswagen, he'd been really lucky to have gotten any numbers at all.
