True friendship is such a blessing. I encourage you to find your tribe and hold them close!

This past Saturday, we celebrated female friendship and our dear friend Stacy who is setting off on a new adventure in California. We love her dearly and it doesn't matter that she'll be over a thousand miles away. If she needs us, we'll be there.

I don't know what I would do without my tribe of women. Yes, we have our own name, membership, and everything. The reason? To protect our friendship. We share everything, and I mean, everything! We've been through relationships, divorces, kids, jobs, etc... together. It's such a blessing to know we all have a consistent, strong support system in our tribe sisters. No judgment, we'll be there.

If you don't have a tribe, get one. It takes work to develop meaningful friendships, but I can't imagine my life without these women. I've suffered from depression in the wake of my divorce and I know I can call any one of these women in the middle of the night and they'll be there. I know that, because it's happened, multiple times. Finding true friends as an adult is hard, maybe even harder than dating, but when you commit the time and effort, I promise, it's worth it. We love you, Stacy, and we're going to miss you so much! Remember, friends are the family you CHOOSE!
