Sad, sad news for Tiger fans. LSU has announced that Mike VI’s cancer has spread. He had an exam at the vet school Monday and doctors found that the tumor in his head had grown and that the cancer had spread. During a press conference yesterday it was announced that doctors will not continue treatment on Mike but they will not let him suffer. They estimate he has 1-2 months to live and will euthanize Mike when the time is right. Despite what organizations like PETA will say, LSU does plan on rescuing another tiger as their new mascot.
