Dr. James Lowder Has Been ‘Caught in the Act’ of Doing Good
Dr. James Lowder has only been out of dental school for a year, and he's already found an awesome way to give back to his community! Through the gift of laughter, he's made his patients comfortable and at ease in those tense moments while sitting in the chair.
And some of the less fortunate patients he sees at CASSE community health could really use the dental work and he's more than happy to help them out in their time of need.
We heard about Dr. Lowder from his dental assistant, Meagan Salard, and in her nomination letter, she made it easy to see why he was the perfect recipient for this week's Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award!
Dr. Lowder is a dentist at Southern Roots in Shreveport, La, he also works at CASSE community health two days a week which is where I work as his Dental assistant. We have worked together for about six months now. I want to recognize him because for anyone going to the dentist is a scary place. Dr. Lowder makes sure every person who walks in the office is comfortable. He jokes around and makes everyone laugh. All of our patients call him the ?sexy doctor? and he loves it! The other day we had a patient come in scared to death of getting the injection to get numb and he kept saying just breathe and then started playing the song just breathe by Anna Nalick and started singing it to her. He goes out of his way to make sure every patient that has had a bad experience with a dentist or doesn?t like a dentist change their mind and prove not all dentists are scary. I am so lucky to be able to work for a dentist that has people smiling when they leave!
Dr. James Lowder, thank you for being one of the "good guys" and being a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!
And because you've been 'Caught in the Act' the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse and Silver Star Grille have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner!
Take a listen to the phone call we made to James to let him know that he was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
