It took us a minute and several phone calls to convince Dianne we weren't telemarketers or con artists, but when we did get through, she was thoroughly delightful! Dianne's strength as a woman of God and her willingness to help her fellow (wo)man is just one of the reasons she's earned the distinction of being named this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Just take a look at the letter we got from Carrie:

My mother never ceases to amaze me with her heart of God. There is not a task too big for her to handle, for anyone needing help. Recently she learned of a hardship that her lifelong friend was facing, & without hesitation jumped into action, she raised the money needed, & immediately turned the situation into a blessing. Dianne works so hard & gives 100% of herself to any need, selflessly. I admire her strength, her heart & her ability to give God the glory through it all! Her 65th birthday is on October 16th & I would love to acknowledge her & her good deeds!

Dianne Welch, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!
