One phone call to Diane Ferguson and Bristol and I just knew she was one of God's chosen people. You could just hear the kindness in her voice.

In fact, she commented that while she was on the phone, she was packing shoe boxes full of items to be donated to a local organization's efforts for less fortunate people.

That's just how Diane rolls! She knows it's about others; not Diane.

But, THIS is about Diane! She's this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award, and when you read the letter below from her grandson, Dylan Cummings, it's easy to see why!

I would like to tell you about my grandmother, Diane Ferguson aka Nanna. She has never met a stranger and anyone who knows her absolutely loves her. Even after losing her husband of 52 years and her only daughter in 2015 she has always stood tall and gave and continued to give far more than she has ever received. All because of how big her heart is. Even when we had nothing, she always found a way to provide. Even things as small as sending letters and gifts with me to school for teacher appreciation week when I was younger. She is continuously giving back to her community. Every year she puts together dozens of shoe boxes filled with goodies for less fortunate children to make Christmas time a little easier. Nanna takes dance classes at least twice a week at the spar and every holiday rather it be saint Patrick's Day or Easter, she always shows up and shows out. She has never left a single person out. She always always goes the extra mile. We love you so much Nanna and thank you for being you!

Diane Ferguson, thank you for being so amazing! You are a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live! And because you've been 'Caught in the Act' the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Diane to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
