We've received nothing but great updates from the Culpepper family. Praise the Lord that Darren is recovering from his recent critical illness that nearly took his life. But, as you probably know, medical expenses add up fast and there is now a fund set up to help out the Culpepper family.

Darren Culpepper and his family have been an active part of Bossier City for years and years. You may have stopped by their old feed store that used to be in the area right behind where the CenturyLink Center now stands. Or you may have had a burger from the Culpepper family's convenience store on Sligo Rd right by Red Chute Bayou.

Well, now the Culpepper family needs our help. A few weeks ago, while in Texas for a family member's funeral, Darren Culpepper suffered a mysterious seizure that left him in critical condition. At one point the family was told to prepare for Darren to pass. Well, thank the good Lord, Darren is doing much better. He has been transferred to a Shreveport area hospital and his condition continues to improve. Keep praying for Darren and his family as they still have a long road of recovery ahead of them.

And we know that times are tough, between filling up your tank with gas and keeping the kids in shoes. But, if you can spare a few bucks, we are certain the Culpepper family will never forget your generosity.

A fund has been set up in the name of Belinda Culpepper (Darren's wife) at Progressive Bank.
