Carla Jones is a baby's best friend! Especially those who spend a little time in the NICU at Willis Knighton South. Not only does she give them all the professional medical attention they deserve, but she gives them the love that only a mother could provide.

In fact, it was her own daughter, Mandi Little, who sent us her nomination letter, because she knows first hand just what type of love that Carla can give.

Take one look at the nomination letter that we got from Mandi and you'll see how easy it was for us to name Carla Jones as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

I’d like to nominate my mom, Carla Jones, for the “Caught in the Act.” I know I’m partial since I’m her daughter, but you can ask anyone that has crossed her path and they would agree. She works as a NICU nurse, which, in my opinion is a profession reserved for the angels here on earth. She excels at her job because she cares so much about these babies and their families. She has a hobby of crafting, and for most holidays she puts together little “happies” for all of the babies in the unit, like a personalized stuffed animal or a goodie-filled plastic egg for Easter. On her off days, she still spends her time caring for little ones - whether it is my two little boys, her four God-daughters, or local babies that need in-home care.
If only we had more Carlas, the world would be a better for it!

Carla Jones, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!

And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star have a $100 Gift Certificate for you to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Carla to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
