Cajun Couple Anniversary Gifts

At the end of this month, my dear husband and I will be celebrating 12 years of wedded bliss... but what do you get to celebrate the Louisiana man who has it all? Find out with this handy dandy Cajun Anniversary Gift Guide!

In the interest of being transparent, for the past 11 years, as a couple, we've tried really hard to follow either the traditional or modern guide for gift giving as recommended by the year of the anniversary and we've had to get really creative. However, if we were to continue with this theme, our gifts to each other this year would be either home decor or pearls.

While home decor (ahem, a new couch... the dog's ate part of the one we have now!) would be fantastic, or a gorgeous pearl necklace would be wonderful for me, I'm pretty sure Keith wouldn't be impressed by a strand of Mikimotos!

So, with that being said, I'll skip the stuffed Nutria rat, but I do like stuffed shrimp, so let's go out to dinner! While I don't really want a Duck Dynasty DVD, maybe we could take the trip to take the DD tour? And since it's year 12, if you add in two pedicures instead of foot massages, I'd be feeling pretty good about things... or even better, how about a couples pedicure and lunch at Shane's for the boudin?

Sure, we may live north of Alexandria, but we can make this work!
