This week's recipient is one of those guys that you're glad to have in your circle. He uses his talent for creating scrumptious dishes to not only make a living but serve our community. Time and time again I've seen Beau personally lend a helping hand which is why he earned the distinction of being named this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Just take a look at the letter we got from Jackie:

Beau Hays has gone above and beyond to not only help keep three businesses going during this time of the Covid 19 crisis but has worked tirelessly to use BeauxJax as a launching point for several different programs to help this community during this crisis. When this first started he came up with a plan to do take out and deliver meals so he would be able to keep as many employees going as possible. Then as this crisis continued he and several employees came up with the idea of having a telethon to raise money to feed first responders to say thank you. This has been a big success raising over $10,000 in just 2 days and is still continuing on a daily basis. Another thing that he has come up with is a King Cake Gram. He and Don Tubbs combined efforts and are offered to deliver a King Cake with a special message from the person sending it to a friend or loved one they are missing, so they can still show their love for each other. Needless to say that I'm very proud to call Beau my son. He is always looking for ways to give to the community and show God's love to the customers and the community. I truly believe that he deserves as much recognition as possible for the awesome job of bringing our community together during this crisis.
