Ashley McGriff Is This Week’s Recipient of Caught in the Act Award

We're still a little amazed that we were actually able to reach Ashley McGriff on the phone. She's so busy and always on the go, we're pretty sure that if she hadn't been trying to get her children loaded on the school bus, we wouldn't have been so lucky. But as fate would have it, when we called, she answered, and talking to Ashley was all the blessing we needed for the day!

See, Ashley is the type of person we should all aspire to be. She's a great Mom, daughter, sister, friend and neighbor. She's exactly the type of person we were thinking of when we first came up with the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award, and we're tickled that she is this week's recipient.

Just look at the nomination letter we got from her sister, Charli Hall.

I would like to tell yall a little bit about this wonderful woman I know, she is a full time student to be an RN. She has 1 semester left to graduation! She is a mother of 2 beautiful girls. My daughter had her first episode of epilepsy while we where with her and she took care of it all while I was crying and scared to death. Life has thrown her a real hard ball right now, but still in the mix of everything she has going on in her life, she stops helps anyone who calls on her. The Jefferson humain society in Jefferson tx was found in the worst of conditions and she spent days and nights helping get it cleaned up. She even took one of the few living animals home. She is the sole provider for her grandparents. She never has a second to just sit and breath. She is constantly on the move. She doesn't realize how much she does for people. On her craziest days she will still bring yo u Sprite if your sick, granted she stands at her car and throws it at you but she will bring it. Lol And I'm sure she doesn't want nor need recognition, but I think she deserves it for everything she does. She is truly one of the strongest and most caring women I know!

Ashley McGriff, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!
