Renee Parker knows that she's been blessed! Blessed with a friend like April Wesson! We should all be so lucky.

See, April not only uses her business, Friends Nutrition, as an income, but she says "It's also a ministry to her community."

And what a ministry she's developed! Just look at April's nomination letter that we got from Renee and you'll see why it was a no-brainer to name April Wesson as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

My friend April Wesson owns Friends Nutrition. She is always doing amazing things to help others in need. She donates teas to first responders and does a give back drive where she matches what others donate to give teas to deserving first care responders. She along with her son donated blankets, backpacks, and toiletries to the homeless around Christmas time. She used her business as a drop off for supplies for the people effected in Lake Charles from the storms this past year and personally delivered them. She always has a smile on her face when you enter her business and uses it to touch people’s heart. My daughter had corrective jaw surgery in November and was put on a liquid and smoothie diet. She made sure my daughter had plenty of smoothies to help us get through the long 6 weeks. I can’t tell you how often I hear of the amazing selfless acts she does and never wants credit for them. She is so deserving and deserves to be recognized for the way she ministers to those in need. I don’t think sometimes she even realizes they way her spirit touches others. I’m thankful to call her my friend!! I know God blesses those who bless others and she most definitely should be blessed with this honor!!!

April Wesson, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!

And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star have a $100 Gift Certificate for you to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to April to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
