What’s going on across Shreveport and Bossier City this weekend? Our first annual Miller Light Kiss Country Fest will feature some hottest acts in country music. Before you come out for the concert Saturday night there’s everything from the Poke Salad Fest in Blanchard to the Red River Bend Classic Bass Tournament. If you’re looking for something to do this Mother’s Day weekend we’ve got you covered in Kiss Country!

 

Poke Salad Festival Blanchard: The Carnival will feature armbands for all-you-can-ride rides on Friday 6-10 and Saturday 10-11. As you may already know, one of the highlights of the Poke Salad Festival is the Parade through downtown Blanchard on Saturday May 10th, starting at 10:00 AM in front of Blanchard Elementary School. Plus there's tons of live music at the Main Pavilion Stage. (more)

Cole Vosbury, Dez Duron, & Willie Jones: Shreveport’s Municipal Auditorium has re-opened, and it’s time to start a new era off with a bang. Former “The Voice”/”X-Factor” contestants Cole Vosbury, Dez Duron and Willie Jones will play the historic venue May 9 at 7:30. (more)
