This week we salute a service member who made the ultimate sacrifice, Sgt. Justin Hansen of the United States Marine Corps. Justin’s story comes to us from his cousin, Ashley. Take a few moments to read a little bit about Justin and show your support.

My cousin, Sgt. Justin Hansen, gave his life for our freedom on July 24th, 2012. He was a dedicated member of the United States Marine Corps. He was 26 years old and was from Kingsley Michigan. I will never forget the town’s dedication to their hometown hero. I was there for the funeral and over 1,400 people attended the service and burial. He was a legend in his town and any soldier he ever served with would tell you that he was the best there ever was, including his general. I’ll never be able to forget the fact that he will never be given the chance to get married or start a family. But I will certainly NEVER forget his ultimate sacrifice for me, his country, and our freedom.
