“Pink Ropes For Wendy” – The Benefit Team Roping For Wendy Woodson McCalister

Hi it's Gary McCoy and I'm hoping I can count on all of my roping friends to help one of our own in her time of need.  Wendy Woodson McCalister has breast cancer and the battle is costly to say the least.  I've known the Woodson family for years and they've always been there to help others in times of need and now it's our turn to repay their kindness.  On May 26 in the heart of Memorial Day Weekend, a benefit team roping, "Pink Ropes For Wendy" will be held at the Double R Rodeo Arena in Stonewall.   Books will open at 7:30am and roping begins at 9am.  They'll also have an auction, a kids dummy roping contest, a bake sale, stick horse rodeo and much more, with 100% of the profits going to help Wendy and her family fight the Big C.  For more info or to make a donation call Lynette Savage at 318-347-0345 or for entry questions call Donnie Savage at 318-560-8343 or Todd Johnson at 318-560-9142 or check out their Facebook page at Facebook.com/RhinestoneRibbons
