USAF Master Sergeant Kelly Jose — Kiss Country Salutes

This week we salute USAF Master Sergeant Kelly Jose. Kelly’s wife Heather wrote to us about her husband:
Kelly has served in the USAF for 14 years this month. He deployed within a few hours of the 9-11 attacks. In total he’s deployed 7 times leaving his wife and 3 young children to God’s good graces. Being the best at what he does he became Master Sergeant by the age of 33.
On top of serving his country proudly, Kelly has served God as a youth pastor for over 10 years. He gives 110% in all he does, but 2 years ago his wife left him and Kelly was left to raise his 3 children on his own. Kelly continued to serve his country but he put his children first. He works long hard days and comes home full of energy to take care of his children making sure to show them individual attention and love. I married Kelly 10 months ago and everyday I am surprised and amazed at how much he loves his kids and his country. I believe he’d lay his life down for both. Kelly deserves recognition and honor.
