George Strait Helps Give Veteran a New Home at Bossier City, Louisiana Concert
The cowboy rode away last night (Jan. 9), but not before giving a veteran a new home.
George Strait helped the Homes 4 Wounded Heroes Military Warriors Support Foundation present US Army Specialist E-4 Douglas Michael Edds a new home.
Retired US Army Lieutenant General Leroy Cisco joined Strait onstage to help present Edds and his wife Tanya a giant key that symbolized the amazing gift.
The couple also received a year's supply of groceries, plus a big-screen TV courtesy of Walmart.
Strait, who is currently touring the US on his farewell The Cowboy Rides Away Tour, played the sold-out CenturyLink Center show with Jason Aldean.
