April 9, 2012 So the widening of Bellevue Road began in the Summer of 1967 right...well, maybe it was a little later than that but it seems like it was decades ago. Supposedly the project will be completed in the fall, but it's coming with a huge price.
April 6, 2012 The wife and kids have decided we need another dog. 2 dogs and a pair of guinea pigs at my house apparently aren't enough so we're looking and I just might have found the perfect place to get that new addition to our family

April 5, 2012 First Baptist Church in Haughton is bringing in the renowned Christian Group MercyMe for a concert with guest artists Moriah Peters and Chris August. The show's going to be April 26 at 6:30pm at the church.
April 4, 2012 The 3rd Annual Plain Dealing Flea Market will be held on May 5th, 2012 from 8 am to 2 pm in the Downtown Park (109 Cottonbelt Street, Plain Dealing, LA) Vendors selling merchandise and food will be set up in the park and surrounding streets

April 3, 2012 I've never lived up north. Really haven't even traveled up there much, so I'm not too sure about how much damage a "snow storm" can bring to an area, but here in God's Country, in the Deep South, we certainly know that Spring brings on Severe Thunderstorms and Tornadoes, and the damage they bring costs literally hundreds of thousands, possibly millions, each year.
April 2, 2012 The 2012 Academy of Country Music Awards Show was held last night from Las Vegas and had it's share of highlights and actually left me with a couple of questions. One of those highlights was an actual wedding.
