Who or What Did You Name Your Child After?

After reading the story of the Red River FLW champ, John Cox, naming his soon to be born daughter Lilly, after Red River lilly pads, I have been wondering if there were any similar stories out there. Who or what were you named after? Do you have a good story to go along with you, your child, or any family member names? I have heard of a duck hunter naming is son Drake in honor of his beloved sport and of course the name Hunter I associate with someone who enjoys outdoor sports. I recently met someone born on Christmas who was named Merry and I went to school with a girl named Easter. . .wanna guess when she was born?
