I'm warning you before you read too far--these dreams are weird. I share an office with someone who believes that all dreams can be interpreted to have a deep meaning. Well, what on earth could Taylor Swift trying to give me a mean orange kitten or Sunny Sweeney having the images of the entire band 'Alabama' tattooed on her thigh mean? No, that doesn't sound too deep to me. These dreams sound more like a Country DJ who really needs some solid shut eye. I've read that weird pregnancy dreams are quite common and usually related to the huge life changing event that you are undergoing during pregnancy.

The first pregnancy dreams I had were nightmares about snakes. Typical, scary snake dreams.

But, last night, things got very weird.

Part One - Taylor Swift and the Mean Kitten

Taylor Swift sat at my feet opening a box as she told me that I had two choices. Taylor was giving me a gift. I remember telling Taylor how much I loved the word awkward when she mentioned her gifts to me were indeed awkward. My first option was revealed when she opened the box that contained two fluffy bright orange kittens and a couple other furry critters. I reached down to pet the kitten only to realize it was a hissing, biting, mean little thing. I passed on my first gift option. I ended up choosing a GIANT painting, also of a cat. Specifically, my gift was a painting of a grey kitten wearing a gold hat with a purple background--Geaux Tigers??

Part Two - Sunny Sweeney Tattooed

And you thought the cats were weird. So in the second phase of my pregnancy "dreams" I am hanging out at an event with Sunny Sweeney, who has the most interesting tattoo on the top of her right thigh. Sunny is entertaining her guests and trying to talk me into getting a tattoo to match hers. The tattoo is of the entire band 'Alabama'. Yes, Sunny Sweeney has Randy Owen and the gang on her thigh, full length miniature old school Alabama. I'm pretty sure that is when I woke up and hoped to the good Lord that none of this alluded to the personality the fetus I am growing.

Have you ever had an off the wall dream? Mine are so very vivid.

And no, neither of my dreams were covered in the massive collection of dream interpretations.
