Weekend Events for Shreveport and Bossier City April 25-27

What’s going on across Shreveport and Bossier City this weekend? There is almost too much to do this weekend.

The planes have been arriving all week for Barksdale Defenders of Liberty Airshow which kicks off Saturday.

If the airshow isn’t for you, you’ve got everything from Trucks Gone Wild to bull riding at the Cass county Rodeo. Or get a little exercise with the many different 5K run/walks this weekend.

Trucks Gone Wild Louisiana Mudfest: Kicking off today in Colfax, Louisiana and going through Sunday. This annual offroad event has become one of the largest in the entire country and has been the largest Trucks Gone Wild event two years running.(more)

Cass County Championship Rodeo: The Rodeo Grounds in Linden, Texas are being prepared for the 14th Annual Cass County Championship Rodeo. Events will begin at 8:00 pm on the nights of April 25 and 26 and rodeo fans will enjoy a special treat this year as Rob Smets “Kamikaze” will do the announcing this year! (more)

March of Dimes “March For Babies”: If you’re up for a good time hanging with some great people and raising money for an incredible cause, make plans to join in the March of Dimes “March for Babies” this Saturday, April 26.
