We Found The Only Man In Kiss Country NOT In LSU Gear

No matter where you go today in KISS Country, you'll see a flood of purple and gold.  LSU fever is at its peak!  Anyone who isn't mandated to wear some type of uniform like fire, police, postal employees and people like that, are decked to the hilt preparing for tonight's BCS National Championship Game with Alabama. However, there is ONE exception. Apparently my friend Ricky Elliott didn't get the memo.  While everyone else in his small Bossier Parish office are swimming in a pool of purple and gold, Ricky woke this morning to dress himself in "orange".  C'mon Ricky....REALLY?  You're as big an LSU Fan as anyone and "Orange"?   Was it "Wear Your Favorite Fruit Day?"  Was it "Dress Like A Prisoner Day?"  Or maybe "Choose Your Favorite Crayon Day" or his "Salute to Highway Workers"..Nope...When I talked to him this morning, he said "I just forgot"...  One of the nicest, most thoughtful men I know, and he just "forgot"???  Where's the disconnect?  We wouldn't forget Christmas or opening day of duck season.  How do you "forget this one"?  Okay, our mission today is to make sure Ricky's in his colors by quitting time, so if you spot him, give that boy a tee shirt...and be sure to let him know that a day like today is probably more important than his anniversary.  At least if he wants to continue calling himself a "real man"!  It's GAME DAY....and here in Kiss Country, WE DON'T FORGET!  GEAUX TIGERS!
