The time has finally come! You are about to make a lucky seniors day. You nominated your favorite senior citizens, and we took all your nominations to our Esteemed Panel of Judges. They had a tough time picking the 5 finalists, but luckily for us they were able to handle the tough task. Read up on these awesome seniors in our community and then vote. Vote for the senior who think deserves an afternoon of fun with JC Robertson Photography! That lucky senior will have the honor of being a model, and up to 8 of their family members can join in on the photo shoot!

Thank you to everyone who nominated their special senior! Make sure you share this with your friends so they can vote for your favorite senior citizen! Voting ends on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. The more people you share with, the more chances your senior has to be a model for a day. Happy voting!

    George Locke, 94

Jessica Gallagher nominated George and said "My grandpa is the best man I've ever known. He took the place of my father. He has always provided for my sister and I. No matter how many mistakes I've made through out my life he never gave up on me. At 94 yrs old he's still out mowing the lawn and grilling steaks! A world War II Vet. Still full of piss and vinegar. He has no filter tells you just like it is. He's a loving husband to my grandmother for 68 years. They're both amazing!"

    Yvonne Henagan, 80

Sydney Crafton nominated her grandma and said "My Memaw was recently diagnosed with end stage liver cancer. She was given 3-6 months to live. She is one of my best friends and her and I are very close. I would love for my family to be able to take pictures with her before we no longer have the chance to."

    James "Andy" Anderson, 69

Laura Anderson nominated her husband and said "My husband of almost 49 years is a very deserving man. He of course helps his family but if someone needs help he is willing to do what he can. He works two days a week but anyone that knows him knows he is like the energizer bunny. He is always working on something. Retirement is NOT his vocabulary and is still working. Retired from the Air Force in 1988 and became a contractor and has been "retired" a few years. My love for this man grows each year and I thank God for sending him into my life in 1969. We raised 2 children and buried all 4 of our parents, so we have been each others rock at different times. Thank you for reading this and good luck to whomever has entered!"

    Patricia McManus, 72ish

Courtney McDaniel nominated her grandma she said "My Mamaw is one of the most self-less humans on the face of this earth. She still works, as well as helps me by taking my daughter to school and picks her up from school. My Mamaw is a fire cracker, she is all of 4 feet 10 inches tall, but she tells it like it is. A few years ago, she lost her daughter suddenly to a brain aneurysm. I honestly don't think that we realize how special photos are until a tragedy takes place. My Mamaw would be so excited if she won this! Thank you for this awesome opportunity!"

    Jim Howard, 86

Elizabeth Coyote nominated her grandpa and said "Jim is my 86 year old papa. He means so much to our family. He is one of a kind for sure! I know at times everyone gets busy and he may be lonely. I want to nominate him to remind him he is so special to us. And, for 86 he's still pretty handsome! He's an Air Force Veteran, loves music and to sing, loves God and his family. I have no doubt he would love to be a model for the day. He's the light of our family and has a special place in my heart."
