Christmas Day will be an exciting morning for many of us. While many of us enjoy our close loved ones and family there are several people who won’t be able to spend the holiday with their family, not even in a virtual world. You see why many of us are busy face timing our family or seeing those closest to us, those behind the badge still have to work their regular shift.

Don Tubbs and his crew at Tubbs Hardware and Cajun Gifts show their appreciation for the folks who keep us safe in a unique way and in my opinion the best of ways. Christmas Morning Don Tubbs will be firing up the Big Green Eggs and filling them with Bear Creek Turkeys and Hams. The staff at Tubbs Hardware and Cajun Gifts hope to feed Bossier Parish patrolmen, jailers, dispatchers, and first responders.

Every year Don Tubbs and his crew feed over 75 officers. If you know an officer who is working on Christmas Day don’t forget to thank them, and if the officer is from Bossier Parish make sure you let them know where they can get a delicious homemade meal while they patrol. The Tubbs family is our reminder of what is good in our community, and they bring out the best in our community for sure.

The meals for Bossier Parish first responders will be served at Tubbs Hardware and Cajun Gifts at 615 Benton Road in Bossier from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
