Toni Ford will make you want to be a better person! From what we've been told, she blesses everyone who's path she crosses. As a Mom, Grandmother, teacher, friend and neighbor, she's always there with a smile and kind word when it's needed, and certainly not afraid to do whatever it takes to brighten everyone's day.

Take a look at her nomination letter that we received from Camille Linn and see just how easy it was to name Toni Ford this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

To say that our friend Toni Ford has a Heart of Gold is an understatement. She is a Mom, a teacher, a friend and one of the Best Toot’s (Grandma) around. She has been doing good way before we ever heard of COVID-19. She is the type of mom that delivers Sunday dinners to her children. She is the teacher that will buy back packs and shoes for her students that are in need. She is the friend that you know without a doubt is there in a split second. She will deliver you dinner and dessert after surgery, having a baby or just because. She is also fun to be around and for sure will have a good time with her around. If you ever take a trip with her, you might just end up at The Waffle House in your pj’s at midnight. Now post COVID-19, as soon as the announcement that schools were closing, and before she realized that she would continue to teach online, she offered to keep her friend’s children in her home. She did not like the fact that one of her best friends flower box was in need of some TLC. Toni did what Toni does best; she planted flowers in her friends flower box while her friend was at work. Then Toni began the search looking for single moms or young couples that lost their jobs due to COVID-19 so that she could make their kids Easter Baskets. Not only did Toni find one, but also with the help of other friends, three more kids will be receiving an Easter Baskets. We are confident that if we were ever to ask anyone that she has ever met, whether its family, friend, students or strangers, they would all agree that Toni deserves to be recognized for all the good she does without expecting anything in return.

Toni Ford, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!
