Taziki’s South Highlands Closes Marking End of an Era for Line Avenue Staple
This is a hard one to write because Taziki’s has always been one of my absolute favorite places to eat clean and get a quick Mediterranean fix.
Whether you were grabbing a healthy lunch or a family dinner, it was a reliable staple in the Shreveport community for fresh, high-quality food.
However, the South Highlands community received a shock this weekend. Without any prior warning, Taziki’s suddenly closed its doors for good on Sunday, January 18th. Located at 5821 Line Ave, the restaurant has been a fixture in the Shreveport-Bossier community for the past ten years.
In a closing notice shared by the management team, they expressed deep gratitude for the loyal guests, friends, and team members who made their decade-long journey possible. While the South Highlands location is gone, they invited fans to continue supporting the organization at their other 100+ locations nationwide.
Now, the big question on everyone’s mind: What happens next for that prime piece of real estate? Will Taziki’s come back under new management to run it, or will an entirely new restaurant concept take over the space? It’s a fantastic location with a lot of potential, and we are all waiting to see what the next chapter holds for Line Avenue.
What business would you like to see move into the old Taziki’s spot? Let us know in the comments.
