"We lose 22 veterans a day to suicide. That is just unacceptable." We have been consumed with talking about celebrities losing their fight to depression, but what about the 22 soldiers a day who protected us?

Causes for the disturbing trend range from obesity and educational shortcomings, to criminal backgrounds and drug use.

The North Louisiana Wounded Soldier Benefit is holding  4 different fundraiser rodeos and events throughout May, all to be held at the Cowboy Church Riding Arena in Greenwood, LA.

Recently an Australian soldier shot a short film about his experiences in war as he narrated a letter he'd written to his Mom.  And though he's Australian, the feelings he shares aren't limited to one country.  Our American men and women are feeling these same things today.

This past weekend Haydel's Game Calls partnered with the Wounder Warrior project to host a deer hunting event for six soldiers. These brave soldiers arrived at Barksdale Airforce Base Friday and stayed til Monday. Volunteers assisted them with everything and donations covered all the costs….well, most of the costs.
