Two local teen age boys are now officially the best in the nation!

Benton High School will be represented at the 2014 National High School Finals Rodeo as brothers, Peyton and Tanner (Rooster) Leflett will make the trip to Rock Springs, Wyoming for competition in the team roping division July 13-19.

The Cass County Rodeo Grounds in Linden, Texas are being prepared for the 14th Annual Cass County Championship Rodeo later this month.  You and the family will certainly want to take part in this one!

It almost sounds like a bad joke.  Everyone knows that when the PRCA holds its National Finals Rodeo, everybody makes the big trip to Las Vegas.  For 2 weeks in December, Las Vegas is all about bronc busting, bull riding, team roping and a collection of the finest cowboys and cowgirls the world has to offer.  But apparently, after 2014, that 29 year history will come to a screeching halt. The 61st Annual Springhill Championship LRCA Rodeo begins tomorrow, Thursday, May 30 and will run through Saturday at 8:00 each night.  Thursday is Family Night at the Rodeo with adult tickets only $5 and children 10 and under getting in free.

It's rodeo time here in Kiss Country and the 13th Annual Cass County Championship Rodeo is coming up Friday and Saturday, April 26 and 27 at 8 pm nightly.

We are headed into another fun-filled weekend in Kiss Country. Gitty up and get to Springhill for the big rodeo, or enjoy a little live music across the Ark-La-Tex.

The 12th Annual Cass County Championship Rodeo is coming up April 27 and 28 at the Cass County Rodeo grounds in Linden, Texas.  The events start at 8pm nightly and feature all the regular rodeo events but they've added some great things for kids including "Mutton Busting" for those 7 and under at 7pm each night and there's the world famous "Critter Scrambles".

The Marshall Pro Rodeo Association is presenting its 21st annual PRCA Rodeo March 8, 9, and 10 at the Marshall City Arena! All the action starts at 7:30 nightly! With over 6,000 in attendance at last years rodeo you have plenty of world champion excitement to look forward to this year!

The Cass County Championship Rodeo is coming this Friday and Saturday nights to the Cass County Rodeo Grounds on Hwy 8 North at FM 1399 in Linden, Texas.  It starts at 8pm both nights.  $8 for Adults, Children 6-12 are $4 and the ones 5 and under are free.
