In a release from the Caddo Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness we learn there is finally a "one-stop shop" for all the latest updates in regards to COVID-19 information as it pertains to the community.

Caddo OHSEP Director/Sheriff Steve Prator said a complete list of community information can be found on the Sheriff’s Office website at caddosheriff.org.

By clicking on the COVID-19 tab, citizens can readily find information on impacted services from the Sheriff’s Office, Caddo Commission, City of Shreveport, Caddo Parish School Board, First Judicial District Court, and Shreveport City Court.

From Sheriff Prator, “The government agencies in Caddo Parish have been doing an incredible job keeping citizens informed by placing information on their individual websites and social media pages, especially when the information we are receiving is changing so rapidly.  Viewing information at caddosheriff.org puts all of that information in one location for our citizens under the umbrella of Caddo Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness,” he said.

In addition to local information, citizens can link to a Louisiana Department of Health map showing the number of cases reported by parish, view DOH Frequently Asked Questions about COVID-19, and connect with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention.
