Songs of the Season Is Ready For Tonight’s First Show

Songs of the Season at Shreveport Community Church has become as big an essential for my family's Christmas as the tree and presents.

I ran into Pastor Denny Duron this morning and he was just glowing as he stated that they are expecting record crowds for this year's performances.

With a total of 7 performances of this iconic Christmas musical, you've got plenty of chances to witness what some would consider the absolute best of "an almost Broadway performance" right here in Shreveport!

Showings are scheduled for tonight, December 11, at 7:00 pm.  They'll also have performances on Dec. 12 and 13 at 7:00 pm.  And for the weekend, Dec. 14 and 15, they'll have two shows daily at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

Tickets are $10, $15 and $20 and can be purchased HERE or at the door.  Might want to buy them in advance though.  With the crowds they are expecting, and limited seating, the shows could sell out.

You'll leave the show trying to decide what you loved the most.  Was it the kids, the dancing toys, the songs from around the nation, those costumes, or the live animals?  It's truly a magical event and something everyone must experience to fully appreciate.
