Skull Shaped ‘Death Comet’ to Fly Past Earth in November
Don't freak out! We are in no danger of this comet hitting our planet. It is just going to do a fly by, and this isn't the first time we have seen this creepy looking space rock. According to Huffington Post, Scientists have named the comet "The Great Pumpkin" because the last time we saw this thing was October of 2015.
It's official name is TB145, but they also refer to it as "death comet". Partly because it looks like a skull and because they believe it to be dead. Space Guard says that a dead comet is when a comet has lost all of its ice and gas making its fun little space tail of mist fade away.
If you haven't seen a picture of the comet take a look at it below. It is super spooky.
This time we will see the evil looking thing in the beginning of November. The closest it will be to earth is 24 million miles.
