Sissy Jeter Is Latest Recipient of Caught in the Act Award

Residents of Springhill know they have an Angel among them. This Angel just wears scrubs.

She's Sissy Jeter and she's this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Her friend and co-worker, Judy Whittington, was the one who blew the whistle on Sissy's acts of kindness and 24 karat gold heart.

Just look at the nomination letter we got about Sissy and you'll see just why we think she's so incredible!

Sissy Jeter is an amazing pillar to our little community here in Springhill La. She is a nurse practitioner here at SouthStar and on our days “off” she travels all around north LA seeing hospice patients. Earlier this month we had a young man from our area get severely burned. To help him and his family out she headed up a raffle bringing our community together and personally taking all that was donated (which is an amazing amount) to him and his family while he’s still in the hospital in Little Rock, AR. Sissy is also a member of the WHO group and helps out there as well. She is definitely loved and I’m so proud to work beside her at SouthStar and call her a dear friend. She’s truly AMAZING!

Sissy Jeter, thank you for being so amazing! You are a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live! And because you've been 'Caught in the Act' the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner!
