This ramp closure is scheduled to take place from approximately 7:00 pm to 6:00 am for one night, and is necessary to allow the contractor to safely and efficiently perform concrete pavement repairs near this location as part of the ongoing I-20 major rehabilitation project.

Detour signage will be in place directing motorists back to I-20 eastbound.

As with all projects of this type, this work will be performed "Weather Permitting", so though it's highly unlikely, inclement weather could delay, extend or alter in other ways the scheduled day/hours for this work.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Remember to leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
