Shreveport Police Arrest Man for Home Invasion

On February 28th, 2023, Shreveport Police officers were contacted in reference to a citizen being attacked at a home located in the 4000 Block of Forest Oak Drive. When officers arrived, the suspect was no longer on the scene. However officers located a victim suffering from injuries sustained during the attack. Officers discovered that a male suspect had forcibly entered the victim’s residence and began to strike the victim in the face.

Responding officers were able to locate the suspect in the area, however, the suspect fled on foot when officers approached. The suspect was eventually caught and found to also have an outstanding warrant for DWI.

Officers placed Latrell Taylor (8/2/90) under arrest and he was charged with one count of Home Invasion, and one count of Resisting an Arrest.
