Chimp Haven Discovery Days

Free and open to the public, visitors will be able to view the chimpanzees in their naturalistic environment as they forage for fruit, vegetables and leaves, and talk to staff about the chimpanzees’ personalities and natural behavior.   The next chance to enjoy Discovery Day is in September, so don't pass up on this if you are interested! Today's theme is "Vacation at the Beach". A new event following Chimpanzee Discovery Days, called “Chimp Chat & Chew”, was launched in March, 2010. Chimp Chat & Chew includes a behind the scenes tour, lunch and a presentation by a staff member.   ($30 adult/$15 child)
