Just seeing these babies wearing their masks is a dead giveaway as to what year it is isn’t it? It has been a year of COVID, virus, pandemics, quarantines, hurricanes, virtual learning, Zoom meetings, stay at home workdays, masks and social distancing.

2020 has hit us with just about every kind of curve known to man, but one thing has stayed true. Here in our neck of the woods, we still deem it necessary to have our kids understand and value our American citizenship.

Each day, classes just like this all over Northwest Louisiana will pause for a moment to have students recite the Pledge of Allegiance, and it warms our hearts that there is still a high value placed on the importance of this.

Course, as you listen, it’s always good to join right in there and remember your love for America and the Red, White and Blue. And today we’ve got some real winners leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance!

Thanks so much to Ms. Dodd’s 4th grade at Princeton Elementary School. They are our featured Kiss Country “Class of the Day” and did an amazing job leading us in the Pledge!
