It would take this page and thousands more just like it to list all the people's lives who have been impacted by Ray and Dottie Tabor, but thankfully, one of those people was Kelsey Phipps, and Kelsey took the time to write us about this angelic couple.

These two have not only served their community here in Northwest Louisiana, but they served in South Louisiana as well, ministering to those who needed to hear that Jesus loved them and that they were there to help.

Kelsey's letter not only moved Dottie to tears of joy, but it made it so easy to name these two our latest recipients of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Just read for yourself:

I would like to tell you about two of the finest human beings that I have had the privilege of knowing. Dottie and Ray Tabor have served in the youth and other areas of a few Baptist Churches in the Shreveport area for over 30 years. They have anonymously sponsored many children for church camp over the years and have gone on several mission trips to Mexico and other places. This includes helping to build houses for the under privileged and teaching others about Jesus. Ray has even helped new pastors start their own mission programs.  Both of them took me and my two daughters in at a low time in our lives. They have helped us move a few times, brought us food when we were sick, helped us fix things around the house, and many more things I could mention. Furthermore, they are the first to help those in need. Over the years, they have helped people secure transportation, housing, and even sat with people in the hospital. I need to also mention that they are available day and night with no judgement or complaints. They like to work quietly behind the scenes, but they deserve for their good deeds to be brought to light. In addition, they just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary and are still finding ways to help others. Honestly, they are the true example of how Christians are to be and I am so proud to know them and be a part of their family! Please consider them for this weeks “Caught in the Act” award. They are true angels on earth

Ray and Dottie Tabor, because you've been 'Caught in the Act' the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Ray and Dottie to let this know they were this week's Caught In The Act Award recipients.

LOOK: Things from the year you were born that don't exist anymore

The iconic (and at times silly) toys, technologies, and electronics have been usurped since their grand entrance, either by advances in technology or breakthroughs in common sense. See how many things on this list trigger childhood memories—and which ones were here and gone so fast you missed them entirely.

LOOK: Baby names that are illegal around the world

Stacker scoured hundreds of baby name databases and news releases to curate a list of baby names that are illegal somewhere in the world, along with explanations for why they’re banned.
