Jamey Hickingbottom wrote to tell us of the wonders of her sister, Rachel Hatcher. And we're so thankful she did, or we'd still be in the dark about this incredible woman. In spite of her own personal issues, Rachel is the kind of woman still willing to serve others.

As a teacher, Rachel is an angel and the saving grace for a great number of her students. And she's the person that her friends, family and neighbors can all count on when there's a need. And that's why Rachel is this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Just take a look at Rachel's nomination letter that we got from Jamey and you'll understand why we're so in awe of her.

Rachel is my sister and she has been a people pleaser since I can remember. She worries about everyone and is there to help anyone in need before herself. She had a double bypass back in April at the young age of 33. Instead of worrying about herself at the time she was worried about her husband and kids more. She never lost her faith in God and questioned him why this was happening to her. Matter of fact she was back in church less then 2 weeks after her heart surgery. She is a teacher at Stanley High School and if you ask any kid there they will tell you how loving and caring she is. She got voted teacher of the year in the 18/19 school year. She is deserving in more ways than one and thats why I think she should be the next recipient of the caught in the act award. I love her more than she will ever know.

Rachel Hatcher, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!

And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star have a $100 Gift Certificate for you to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Rachel to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
