The time we spend in the sun is getting a lot shorter and that means it's time to get serious about high school football.  I'm not saying that it wasn't serious for the players, parents, coaches, cheerleaders, students, and just about everyone else cheering in the stands this year before this but, if you're still playing now - you're playing for a trophy and a title!

Now that we're in week 12 of high school football in Louisiana, the number of games on Friday night are dwindling.  The stakes, however, are much higher.  If your team loses now, there's no time to regroup for the next game - there is no next game.

The following 15 games each represent 2 awesome teams who have already proved that they are a cut above the rest by making into the post-season at all.  Each and everyone of them is running full-throttle to claim the title of state champions.  Since only one of these teams in each battle will emerge victorious, you just know they'll leave it all on the field!

With that being said, take a look at each of these gridiron-gladiatorial grudge matches and take your best guess as to who will make it to week 13 and who will be moving on to basketball full-time.
