Ninna Lopez is This Week’s Caught in the Act Award Recipient
This week's recipient of the Caught in the Act award is pet rescuer Ninna Lopez with Ninna's Road to Rescue in Benton, LA!
Asa Albright wrote to us telling us about Ninna's small animal rescue efforts right here in our community, but Ninna doesn't just help animals, she helps people, too.
Just read the letter we got from Asa and you'll see why honoring Ninna was an easy choice.
Ninna is an amazing lady that goes far beyond her calling as a rescuer.
She pulls dog & cats from 2 local kill shelters almost daily and drives to Texas, Arkansas and Mississippi to help other rescues with placing their fur babies in a good homes. She travels to Northeast and South Louisiana to save desperate fur babies in need.
She helps people in need of assistance with vaccinations, spay & neutering, food, etc… She truly cares for people and their pets!
She also helps people that are in need of financial assistance right out of her own pocket. I know this because she has helped me out before.
I love this tremendous lady more than words and she is a great asset to our community. She runs a rescue called Ninna’s Road 2 Rescue.
I truly believe she deserves to be honored with the Caught in the Act award for her big heart for people and their pets too!
Thank you for considering her!
Ninna Lopez, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and for being a big reason why this is the greatest place in the world to live!
And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star have a $100 gift certificate for you to come have dinner on them!
Take a listen to the phone call we made to Ninna to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
