Newest Recipient of Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award Is Josh Bell

When trouble strikes, Josh Bell is obviously the guy to call. And apparently it doesn't matter what time of day or night it might be, Josh will be there.

He's a Bossier City firefighter, so he's used to jumping out of bed at a minute's notice, but even when he's away from his job, he's ready to go for nearly anyone at anytime. And that's why Josh is this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

We got Josh's nomination letter from his wife, Whitney, and it explains everything!

 My husband, Josh Bell, is the most selfless, hard working man that I’ve ever known. Not only has he served our city for the past 18 years on the Bossier City fire department, he’s also worked tirelessly and endlessly at 2 other jobs in his off time to make sure me and our 4 kids never go without. He not only takes care of us, but he’s there for any of his friends that ever need anything. If anyone needs anything repaired, built or fixed he’s usually the first person they call and he’s there for whatever they need, with tools in hand, no questions asked. He’s always there to help people move if they need extra hands. I’ve literally seen him hop out of bed at 10:30 at night, in his pj’s, to help our friend move a heavy concrete cement table in to his house. I sometimes find myself frustrated because he can’t just say “no” to anyone, but it’s honestly one of the reasons I love him so much. He would truly give anyone the shirt off of his back, without expecting anything in return. He truly is a great person with the biggest heart. He’s our hero, protector, comforter, and the best daddy and husband around.

Josh Bell, thank you for being one of the "good guys" and being a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!
