This morning as we wrapped up our conversation with Kat Sepulvado, it was obvious that we left a big question unasked. When does she sleep?

From volunteering to counseling to service work at her church, Kat is constantly focused on the needs of others. Just ask Shelby Szempruch.

Shelby is the person who nominated Kat and she plainly marvels at all she's able to accomplish for others. See what Shelby wrote about Kat and you'll see just how easy it was to name her this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Not only is Kat a mother of four, she is a wife, sister, aunt, daughter, friend, and so many more titles. She is an extremely hard worker. She is a personal trainer, photographer, substance abuse counselor and spends time helping others with self confidence. In what spare time she does have you can find her at the ball fields cheering her sons on, or taking pictures of scenery and animals, and serving her Sundays at Riverpark Church. To know Kat is to love her. Between being a mom and working, she still makes time to be a loyal friend that listens, gives advice, and is always there for you any way she can be. She puts others before herself and would give the shirt off of her back to someone in need. Family is not about blood to her. It is about love, loyalty, and trust. Acts like that is who she is, inside and out. I can’t think of anyone more deserving than her of some recognition!

Kat Sepulvado, because you've been 'Caught in the Act', the gang at the Magnolia Pit have a $50 gift certificate for you to come enjoy a great meal!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Kat to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
